Light Transmission Categories

• Category 0: 0-20% absorption or 80-100% light transmission. Allows a lot or all light through.
• Category 1: 20-57% absorption or 43-80% light transmission. Suitable for cloudy weather and twilight.
• Category 2: 57-82% absorption or 18-43% light transmission. Filters more light than category 1. Suitable for bright days.
• Category 3: 82-92% absorption or 8-18% light transmission. Commonly used in various sports and activities in bright sunlight.
