Along the bottom, from the nose piece, there's a black plastic edge that stops your skin from getting damaged.

Lovely cycling glasses that keep wind, flying critters and dust out of your eyes. Good vision in cloudy weather and at dusk too. I went for the red lenses; I don't have any experience yet with other colours or whether that would make much difference. Good fit on the head, and they stay securely clipped in the helmet too. The fit on the nose could be a little better.

Really nice, light glasses with a lens that changes tint automatically and super fast as soon as it gets lighter or darker.

The photochromic tinting is brilliant. They're nice and light and very comfortable to wear. But…… last week I involuntarily got a very close-up, bird's-eye view of a car bonnet. All things considered I was very lucky, but one of the things I learned: the bottom edge of these glasses is simply too sharp and cuts into your face when you hit the ground face-first. My next pair will have a full frame with a rounded edge. Not that I want another accident. But if it does happen, at least with one less injury. That one could have been avoided. That's why these glasses only get 2 stars. Last week I'd have given them 5.

The glasses look great and sit securely on your head, but they don't pinch the way other glasses often did for me. The photochromic tint really adds something, which makes them suitable for all sorts of activities. I mainly use them for road cycling and gravel riding, but I was also glad I'd brought them along on the ski slopes and on walks in England.

I'm not really a fan of flashy glasses, but I went for these in the end. Because I also ride early in the morning, I deliberately chose glasses with photochromic lenses, so I only need to take one pair without extra lenses. So far I'm very happy with them. I haven't had any really sunny days yet, so I'm curious to see how they do in full sun. In the mornings they keep the wind out of my eyes well, so no more watery eyes, and in the afternoon no more flies in my eyes either.

The glasses have just the right, comfortable fit. The lenses adapt nicely to the light, which gives a certain sense of calm. Nice to wear.

The inside of the lens gets scratched very quickly. When the glasses are folded, the arms touch the lenses, so the coating soon gets scratched. The colours through these sunglasses are very monotone. Everything looks blue-grey.

Great sunglasses that switch quickly between sunlight and shade. The red lens shows everything around you in its true colours, so you keep a clear view on the road or in the woods. You don't notice you're wearing them.

Sits brilliantly on my nose. I've been using them for a while and I wouldn't want anything else. Great in sunny weather and in autumn alike. You don't feel them when you're wearing them.

Good fit, lightweight, and the photochromic lens works really nicely.

I'm really happy with my PPEEQQ glasses. They look great and fit well, even on longer rides. I find the photochromic lenses a big plus in particular. They work really well when it's cloudy or when you're riding in and out of the sun and the trees, so you always keep a clear view. The size of the glasses took a bit of getting used to, as I normally wear smaller sunglasses. I'm used to it now and I'm really pleased with them. Definitely recommended!

My second pair from PPEEQQ, because they're so wonderfully comfortable. And I got this pair by saving up points on my purchases. How lucky can you get? So now I already have a spare for when the other lens gets too damaged. Mountain biking does leave its mark over time. The glasses adapt quickly to dark sections in the woods and tunnels. Perfect for clear vision on fast courses. Definitely worth the money.

Very good, perfect fit and perfect vision. The best I've ever had. Ideal in all weather conditions.

Nice big glasses that protect your eyes well from the sun.

I was used to a more basic pair of glasses. It's amazing how much more relaxed your eyes feel with these.

Lovely glasses. Good fit. They take a bit of getting used to, but that's always the case.

Glasses with a superb lens that give a calm, clear view of what's going on in the woods on gorgeous MTB routes.

Great little pair of glasses, really comfortable. Swapping the lenses is a bit stiff at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's fine. Service and product just as you'd expect from Futurum.

Adapts to the light and does what it's supposed to do.

Good glasses with a wide field of view, ideal for MTB and gravel.

For me, these glasses have two major drawbacks: 1. The inside of the lens is also reflective, which really hampers your vision. With an extra-large MTB helmet or a cap, you can stop the sun shining in between your forehead and the glasses. 2. I expected the red lens to give a warm, yellowish filter that would also boost contrast. Instead, the tint is a cool blue with less contrast. The photochromic lens does work well, though, and adjusts quickly between open fields and wooded stretches.

Exactly what you need: - Photochromic, so perfectly usable in the woods or on dull days. - Good looks; you want to look the part, after all. - Lightweight; you simply don't feel them.

Ticks every box, fits perfectly, and the photochromic lens is more than brilliant.

Very good lens. Adapts quickly. But… The nose pads are very hard. After a two-hour ride, that gets painful. You can bend them open, but softer rubber nose pads would be much more comfortable. Same feeling with the frame behind the ears. The hardness of the plastic (er… beans, sorry) isn't comfortable on longer rides. It's also a big pair of glasses, so there's little room between the frame and your helmet. On bumpy roads, that means constant hard tapping between the two. So, good glasses on paper, but I'll happily go back to my trusty Oakleys.

I hesitated for a long time given the hefty price, but in the end I have no regrets about ordering them! Really nice glasses, they sit comfortably on my nose and fit snugly (better than the 100% Speedcraft). I've been using them for a few weeks now in changing conditions. They adapt well to the light and work really well at sunrise/sunset (I use them for my commute). They don't get as dark as normal sunglasses, but that doesn't bother me. If I had to name a downside, it would be that they don't come with a clear lens. That's tricky in the dark, but then again, they are sunglasses after all…

Bought these because they're recommended for contact lens wearers. I've tried several pairs of glasses, but the wind always caused problems with my contact lenses. With these glasses that's a thing of the past, except in a force 4 wind or stronger. The photochromic part also works really well, and the glasses are comfortable when cycling.

The glasses are comfortable, and the lenses are really handy in Dutch weather.

Really nice glasses, but I've lost them twice already, so I'm (once again) without, and that makes them quite an expensive pair. The photochromic, light-adapting lenses were why I bought them, and they did that perfectly.

My experience was great, until I lost my PPEEQQ while cycling. Unfortunately I never found them again. But as I said: light, beautiful sleek design, good fit, colour designs that go with any kit. Biggest plus: you no longer need to swap lenses.

Bought with the Futurum Credits I'd saved up!

The glasses are really good! The lenses adapt quickly to the light and the glasses fit well! The catch is that when descending, wind gets in behind the glasses. That's probably down to the fit, my helmet and/or other things. Still, it's annoying. So for that I use a different pair.

Glasses that work fantastically. I use them for cycling and skiing. On the slopes they worked on everything from cloudy days to super sunny ones. Especially great when you go from shade into full sun. Really excellent.
