Enhance Your Cycling Safety with XAND LED Lights

Posted by Alex Mityuk on 17.10.24

As the days get shorter and visibility during the day can be reduced by conditions such as mist, it's crucial for your safety to be clearly visible. Additionally, you want the road in front of you to be well lit. The new LED lighting from XAND, available at futurumcc, provides the perfect solution! Thanks to the optional remote control, these lights are now even easier to use. In this blog, I'll explain the advantages of these new lights!

XAND LED Headlight 1300 Lumen

The unique aspect of the 1300 lumen headlight is that you can mount it underneath your handlebar without compromising the light beam's direction. Other lamps are designed to mount on top of the handlebar, and if you turn such a lamp upside down, the light output isn't optimal. The light beam would be inverted, causing you to see less and potentially blinding oncoming traffic. But not with this lamp!

The XAND LED Headlight 1300 Lumen can be mounted to your handlebar using the included out-front mount. You can place your cycling computer on top, so the lamp and computer do not obstruct each other. Together, they form a sleek unit, and due to the lamp's position, the beam of light is optimal. This lamp is perfect for unlit cycling paths thanks to its range of 150 meters. The lens of the lamp is shaped to illuminate the road ahead and the surrounding area without blinding oncoming traffic.

XAND LED Headlight 1500 Lumen PRO

For those needing even more light output, there's the XAND LED Headlight 1500 Lumen PRO. This lamp offers even more brightness and features an OLED screen on top. You can read the light setting and battery status on this screen. If the maximum battery life of 12 hours isn't sufficient for your needs, you can carry an extra battery, which is available separately. This battery can be swapped in a second, ensuring hours of cycling pleasure in the dark! Ideal if you're planning to cycle events like the Bartje 200. This lamp mounts to your handlebar with a simple twist, similar to mounting a Garmin device. Even with this lamp, the lens is designed to prevent blinding oncoming traffic when mounted upright on your handlebar.

XAND Remote Control for LED Headlights

The latest innovation for the new XAND LED headlights, 1300 lumen and 1500 lumen PRO, is that they can be paired with a remote control. This feature ensures you have all the conveniences when you want to switch lighting modes. For example, you no longer need to search for the button on the lamp when it's mounted under your cycling computer. You can simply press the button on the remote control, which can be placed anywhere thanks to its handy Velcro attachment. With one press of the button, you can set the lamp to its brightest mode. This is handy if you suddenly turn from a lit section onto a dark road. When using the remote control with the 1300 lumen model, you not only gain convenience but also two additional (flashing) modes.

XAND LED Taillight 20 Lumen

Lastly, there's an updated XAND LED Taillight with a light output of 20 lumen. This light ensures you are visible from behind up to 800 meters away. Thanks to the specially shaped lens, you are also well visible from the side to other traffic participants. When the battery of this taillight is almost empty, it automatically switches to a less bright mode, ensuring you can still cycle home safely. Before your ride, you can easily check the remaining battery capacity by briefly pressing the on/off button. If it has more than 20% of its maximum capacity left, it will light up green. If it’s less than 20%, the button will light up red.

All new XAND lamps are equipped with a USB-C charging port.
